As a kid my imagination was always running wild, inspired by shows and movies I watched. At that time I was more into drawing, even if I wasn’t very good at it. I didn’t need to be a great comic book artist, or animator, though I would later aspire to be. In truth, I needed to get my thoughts onto a page where I show, and tell, the story that was in my mind when I drew it.
I wasn’t even ten years old when I got my hands on my first, of many, D&D Boxed set and started weaving stories from the other side of a DM’s screen. This did segue into theater, but it was always about telling a story to an audience and not about the performance.
And so, begins a new quest in life where I focus all the skills I’ve honed along the way, to do what I was always doing, even before that big red box found its way into my hands. As the great one once said, “Come with me and you’ll be, In a world of pure imagination.” -Willy Wonka
